Note from Our President
On behalf of the Tennessee Valley Chapter, welcome.
Our chapter exists to serve and strengthen the Army Aviation community and the broader Aviation Enterprise. That includes our Soldiers and veterans, the families who stand beside them, government and industry partners, young professionals, and the many people who dedicate their careers to supporting Army Aviation.
North Alabama and the greater Tennessee Valley have a special connection to Army Aviation. From Redstone Arsenal and our industry partners to our neighbors at NASA and communities throughout the region, the Tennessee Valley Chapter brings together an extraordinary concentration of people, experience, innovation, and commitment to the Army Aviation mission.
TVC is about bringing people together. Through professional development, mentorship, scholarships, community events, support to Soldiers and families, and opportunities to build lasting relationships, we strive to strengthen both the Aviation Enterprise and the community behind it.
Whether serving in uniform, supporting the mission through government or industry, raising an Army Aviation family, mentoring the next generation, or beginning a career in the Aviation Enterprise, each of us contributes to the strength of this community.
We are proud of what this community has built together, and I look forward to what we will accomplish together.
CW5 Chadwick D. Ford, Retired
President, Tennessee Valley Chapter — AAAA
Army Aviation Association of America
Huntsville, AL
The Tennessee Valley Chapter remains passionate in providing unique Aviation professional development and networking programs and events, and the steadfast support of our Soldiers and Department of the Army Civilians in the Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, and North Alabama region.
The TVC leadership has maintained an excellent relationship with the Huntsville/Redstone community, including the Army Materiel Command, AMCOM, CPE Aviation, and NASA — often the first place Aviation system commands and Huntsville professional and community organizations turned to for support.
Our chapter continues its proud tradition of bringing both the commercial and government Army Aviation communities together, supporting not only individual Soldiers, but our Huntsville/Redstone community and the Aviation enterprise.
The TVC remains an active chapter that works hard to build on strong relationships with our industry partners while garnering enthusiastic participation during our diversified and frequent Chapter events — with a most supportive membership that takes to heart our charter and works for the benefit of the Chapter.
